Getting Started:
Mantis Graphics offers a full graphic design department that can work with you to meet your objectives. Design work can range from $35.00 for simple designs to $50.00 per hour for more detailed work. Please email your logos or design ideas for review and more details.
Vector art digital files will produce the highest quality screen print. JPG, PNG, and GIF are NOT vector art. To learn more about vector art: see Wiki illustration here.
If your logos are not vector there is a $35 per hour charge for re-creating or cleaning up low-quality images. Our preferred format is Adobe Illustrator (.ai), vector- based images. We also accept vector-based PDF, EPS, SVG or CDR files. Changing the file extension of an image (JPG, PNG, GIF) to .AI or .PDF does not make it vector art. Saving an image as a PDF is also not vector art . Please be sure to expand all text, type, and lettering, into shapes before submitting.
Ink and thread colors shown on computer or device screen may appear different on fabric. For color accuracy, please consult a physical Pantone book, or stop by our shop to view the color BEFORE you give approval. If your Pantone color is not listed in our Stock Inks, we can custom match any Pantone Solid Coated (PMS C) color for $50.00 per color. View Stock Inks
Mantis Graphics offers Standard Plastisol ink, and Soy Ink. We do not offer water based ink, or discharge inks.
Our Standard Plastisol is PVC Phthalate free. Our soy inks are just as opaque as standard plastisol, but slightly more expensive to purchase. We charge an additional $0.50 per color, per location, for soy ink.
